TOURISTS' PERCEPTION OF VARIOUS TOURIST AREAS IN ROMANIA BASED ON THE VALUE-FOR-MONEY INDICATOR

Abstract


Tourists' perception of the quality of services and their price, through the Value for Money indicator given by Booking.com, was the subject of study of this paper. The statistical data are grouped by representative regions of Romania, referring to summer tourism on the coast, the Danube Delta, mountain tourism, and cities visited for tourist purposes. Statistical comparisons were made; the results formed the basis for understanding some particularities of the areas and types of tourism practiced in Romania, according to the opinions of tourists.
