Abstract

To properly understand the new concept of raising and valorising livestock in the light of bio safety, we need to define the basic terms of this new desideratum that is both complex and important for authorised swine farms no matter the type of production specialisation. Bio safety covers the totality of management measures, as well as the convey of feed without letting vehicles or other machines inside the farm, to prevent the introduction, the persistence, and the spread of pathogens of different diseases among the livestock, and from the livestock to the humans.
