Abstract

The level of development achieved in each of the sectors of the economy is mainly due to the contribution of management. The activity carried out within agricultural farms was also subject to the same trends recorded in all sectors of the economy, trends that outlined an increasingly important role for women, resulting in the fact that today more and more women occupy the position of farm manager. As part of the work, we made a profile of women as farm managers in European states, focusing on aspects such as age, training, size of the farm and the result obtained.
