FOOD TOURISM, VECTOR OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST DESTINATIONS
Abstract
Food tourism is the culinary experimentation of a geographical region being considered an important component of tourism in general. Food tourism promotes unique and impressive gastronomic experiences, being a major factor in choosing a tourist destination, thus, along with the landscape, accommodation and climate, the culinary experience has become defining for those looking for memorable taste sensations, who have a culture of food and drink tasting.
