STUDY REGARDING THE TOURIST POTENTIAL OF THE BUZĂU COUNTY

Abstract


The present paper intends to carry out, objectively, an assessment of the tourism potential in Buzau County. The varied landscapes, especially in the mountain and hill area, as well as the popular, ethnographic and historical elements offer a special attraction for tourists visiting the area. In this area tourists have the opportunity to visit the natural setting and the history of the county such as: Mud Volcanoes (Vulcanii, The Bottomless Lake, The Sculpture Camp in Măgura, The Living Fires of Lopatari, The Vasile Voiculescu Memorial House and also they can enjoy the monumental architecture from area.
