MEASURES TO LIMIT THE ADVERSE EFFECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT FROM THE AREA OF SWINE FARMS

Abstract


Pigs operation indifferent of the technology applied, can lead to phenomena with negative on the environment, if they are not respected some measures to effectively manage the manure from farms. Due to increasingly deep knowledge of the various causes of these phenomena has been an increase of the attention granted to environmental issues, associated with growth and exploitation of the swine in different types of farms.

To avoid the pollution of the environment from the area of swine farms, are required to be implemented measures to monitor the environmental factors from the influence area of the holdings. The management of the environment will require measures witch aim to analyze the quality of wastewaters, of the air and soil, monitoring quantities of waste and the way how to capitalize and disposal of this in the area from  the vicinity of farms, avoiding accidental pollution.
