ECOVALEA: ADVENTURES IN THE HEART OF NATURE
Abstract
Ecotourism is a form of tourism that focuses on exploring and preserving the natural environment, while promoting the sustainable development of local communities. The Jiului Valley, located in Hunedoara County, is an area with a special mountain, landscape and rich biodiversity, offering excellent opportunities for ecotourism. Ecotourism in Valley Jiului, Hunedoara, represents an opportunity for sustainable development in a region historically marked by mining. This report analyzes the ecotourism potential of the area, highlighting the natural attractions, biodiversity and local culture.
