WOODEN CHURCHES ECUMENICAL RESOURCES IN FAGET AREA, TIMIS COUNTY

Abstract


Ecumenical tourist programs represent a basic point for the opening a human collectivity, this leading to destinations for pilgrimage, and at the same time a profitable point for wooden churches, which in the analyzed area also needs to be promoted and restored. The motivation of practicing ecumenical tourism includes aesthetic pleasure and the need for knowledge, along with the desire of a divine experience in areas that have anthropogenic resources. In Faget area from Timis County, ecumenical tourism at wooden churches takes three forms, the individual journey, families or groups as cultural tourists, the purpose of the trip being: spending leisure time in miraculous places with a high emotional load, meditate through pilgrimage and the need for self-knowledge of vernacular architecture.
