Abstract


The paper presents the main specific indicators of the restauration industry and trends of the restaurant chains market worldwide.  The franchise is a trading system used mainly in the industry of the restauration. Therefore, the paper analyzes the development of the specific indicators of the restaurant chains: sales, profit, the value of the assets and the market value of both worldwide and for the present ones in Romania.
