VALORIZATION POSSIBILITIES OF THE TOURIST POTENTIAL OF MEHEDINTI COUNTY
Abstract
Tourism is a complex activity with many economic and social implications. If, at the beginning of its appearance as an activity, tourism had a pronounced social character, in recent years it has become an important economic factor, currently the two components being in a close correlation. [3,8] The social impact of tourism derives from the influence it manifests, on the one hand, on the tourist demand, and the other hand, on the way of life of the resident inhabitants, by widening the spiritual, cultural, and professional horizon.
